THE CARRY™ LIST
Your monthly round up of all the best finds
Edition #221 | Read time: 5 Minutes
Hi Mamas,
It’s Kristen here from the CARRY™ team! I’m doing a takeover this month for The CARRY™ List. If it helps to put a face with a name (this is my crew)…and we’re in the midst of moving.
Quick PSA if you’re new here: The CARRY™ ALL is our weekly newsletter, built by and for working moms. And once a month, we switch things up with The CARRY™ LIST edition. A mix of tried-and-true, trending, and totally worth it finds, approved by working mamas.
But wait, before we get into it…what are you loving right now? Drop your current obsession, product, show, recipe, anything. Don’t gate-keep, ladies, give us the good stuff!
Alright, let’s get into it. Here’s this month’s CARRY™ List. 💛
Enjoy!
-Kristen from the CARRY™ Team

WHAT WE’RE READING
HELP A SISTER OUT. We’re in the middle of a big move…we sold our house in March, moved into temporary housing to finish out the school year, and will be moving again this summer to a new city and state. So reading lately has looked more like survival mode than actual books. 😅
What are you loving right now? A series you couldn’t put down? A good beach read I should pack for this summer? Give me all your recs.
WHAT WE’RE WATCHING
We are a huge golf family over here (all of my boys play), so we had the best time watching The Masters Tournament this past weekend.
Pro tip: if you want to bring a little bit of the Masters magic home, sign up for Taste of the Masters next year. They ship the actual food and treats straight to your door, and it’s officially become a family tradition for us.
Okay, help…what are you watching right now that’s actually good? I am in a full-on slump with books and shows. Help me not waste another night doom scrolling. 👀
WHAT WE’RE COOKING
We’re deep in spring sports, and these meatball sliders are carrying us. Quick, easy, and a crowd pleaser. Add a bagged salad or fruit and green beans and dinner is DONE.
Veteran moms…what’s your go-to “feed everyone fast” meal? 🍽️
A QUOTE
“Life is full of partial solutions—where there’s a way to get a need met, and it might not be the ideal way, but it’s a way that still works.
Partial solutions apply to almost every area of life….We can’t do the absolute ideal thing, but we can do the good-enough.” - Tsh Oxenreider
Tsh’s idea of “partial solutions” has been an encouragement to me for years as an “all or nothing” girl. Sometimes it’s not all or nothing…it’s all or something. And that’s okay. It’s been helpful for me to ask, “what could the partial solution be for this?”
SOMETHING THAT MADE US LAUGH
This interview cracks me up EVERY SINGLE TIME that I watch it.
SOMETHING THAT PISSED US OFF
💭 Thoughts on this one?
SOMETHING THAT MADE US THINK
I’m a 90s baby. Okay fine, I barely squeaked in. I was born in January of 1990, but I’m still claiming full 90s baby cred and I will not be taking questions at this time.
And don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful for plenty that has changed since then. But these posts (part 1 and part 2) really got me thinking about how I can keep a little bit of that 90s childhood alive as I raise my boys today.
A SAVE AND A SPLURGE
Will you indulge me to share a save, a splurge, and a sanity saver?
Save: I’m not a dermatologist, but this moisturizer was recommended by mine. It’s been great and affordable for my sensitive skin.
Splurge: I know we’re “supposed” to be doing the fragrance-free, no-chemicals life…but sometimes you just have to live. These laundry scent beads are how I like to live on the edge. I get asked what perfume I’m wearing all the time, and it’s always just my laundry.
Sanity: Where the HECK do the remotes go? I just replaced ours again and went for the two pack that’s under $10 right now.
📅 DATES TO KNOW
April 22 – Administrative Professionals Day. A great reminder to celebrate anyone who keeps things running in your workplace.
And don’t forget, Mother’s Day is less than a month away (May 10th)! Remember to start thinking about the moms in your life you want to celebrate (including yourself!!).
🗳️ LAST WEEK’S POLL RESULTS
We loved what Liz shared last week and had to pull a piece of it here:
“It’s hard to find deep friendships….I turned 40 last year. I tell myself this is a season, but it’s a little bit of a lonely one.” - Liz
We’d love to hear your experience too. Go read the full comment (HERE) and jump in, this is the kind of conversation we love around here.
As always, this is a space for our Carry™ community to connect with each other. Leave a comment and keep the conversation going. And, we bet there’s another mama that would love The Carry™ All in their inbox, too. Pass on the love!

Poker's Face on Peacock- more foul language than I'd like, but the concept is intriguing. Season 1 was great, and season 2 a little weirder, but it was a nice wind-down show for the hubby and me in the evenings.
I'm a pastor's wife, so Mother's Day always starts busy, but we all are home by 1:30 or 2:00. I would love to go out for lunch and then relax at home with the family. :)
